When asked about her experience on the team and thoughts about the teams’ opportunity, Battalion Commander C/LTC Cydnee Lassiter said: “being a Captain for the last two years of the WHS Varsity Marksmanship Team has been a colorful experience. While the sport is individual, at the end of the day, we work together as a team to motivate and help each other improve our scores. Seeing the team grow over the past few years has been amazing, and I think it will become a pattern into the future, only bringing more victories and more opportunities. I am excited to see us succeed and surpass our previous season scores.”

This season has also been one of the best in Wiesbaden High School’s history and many students are excitedly waiting for the results of the teams’ effort at the final and national championships. When asked about the future of the team, cadet Adrian Pack said: “Our team has a lot of talent and pride, it really makes us stand out. Our recent victories sparked a lot of determination and I hope that this translates to success at finals.”
