On September 27, 2024, Waimea High School’s Army JROTC proudly hosted its 2nd Annual Parent Night Drill Exhibition, titled “Night of Pride.” The cadets formed by company in battalion formation to showcase the leadership, dedication, and discipline they have developed through the JROTC program so far this school year parents, family, and friends.
The cadets took center stage, performing a series of stationary drill commands during their company formation. These drills included facing movements, rest positions, and their spirited company chant. During the exhibition, Company Commanders and their First Sergeants were promoted with the assistance of their family members and instructors, who helped attach their new ranks.
This annual exhibition was well-attended and has become an important part of the JROTC experience at Waimea High School, reflecting the core values of discipline, leadership, and teamwork that the program instills in its students. A big thank you to all the parents, family members, faculty, and friends who came to support the 2nd Annual Parent Nigh Drill Exhibition, “Night of Pride,” and congratulations to all the company commanders and first sergeants on their promotions!
