Submitted by: LTC (R) Bob Takao

Punahou JROTC cadets helped clear invasive species at Ho‘omaluhia on September 24.

More than 70 volunteers from the Honolulu District and Punahou High School Army Junior ROTC tackled the removal of several giant invasive Mule’s Foot Ferns and hundreds of Shoebutton ardisia which were crowding-out native plants in the Polynesian collection of the gardens.
