LANCASTER, SC -- Members of Lancaster High School (LHS) Bruin Battalion participated in a five day virtual Junior Achievement Service Learning Project. In spite of these unprecedented times, LHS Cadets did not allow COVID 19 to prevent them from serving their community through their Annual Junior Achievement Service Learning Project. Unlike previous years where Cadets were able to provide in-person instruction to students, they had to present the instruction via virtual technology.
After a week of planning and preparing learning material, the LHS Cadets taught the Junior Achievement course material to students from McDonald Green Elementary School-Lancaster School district. The Junior Achievement project was wrapped up with Cadets writing reviews and reflections about their experience.
LHS Cadets found this experience valuable and look forward to conducting an in-person Junior Achievement project year’s school year.
