WIESBADEN, GERMANY -- Since COVID conditions have persisted through school year 2020-21, the Warrior Battalion continued to adjust and overcome every obstacle in order to achieve all requirements and beyond. Germany and Europe have instituted more restrictions than in the States and our Cadets have rotated between being in school and operating virtually. Warrior Cadets continue to set the example for others to follow and deserve all recognition possible. In order to recognize achievements by individual Cadets and by the battalion as well as paying special recognition to Seniors and their families, the Warrior Battalion Command and Staff created a detailed plan that was briefed to DoDEA leadership and COL Mario Washington, USAG Wiesbaden Commander for approval.

“The plan included conducting three separate award ceremonies with receiving line and formal receptions. The inventiveness of our staff will allow us to meet and exceed requirements for our unit report and, more importantly, allowed us to recognize outstanding performance and the promising futures of our seniors!” said LTC (Ret) Jon A. Ring, the Senior Army Instructor.

Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Joshua Thresher addressed the guests during the receptions – thanking families for their outstanding support whilst also thanking the others who supported the event.
