CHARLOTTE, NC -- On February 1, 2021, Garinger High School conducted a rehearsal for a virtual volunteer event with two local schools. The focus of the discussion was the importance of education and community service. On February 3rd, the Wildcat Battalion had a 60-minute discussion with Windsor Park Elementary School. The elementary students were mesmerized with the diversity, awards, and scholarship opportunities JROTC has to offer. The cadets received positive feedback from Windsor Park Administrative Team and will conduct bimonthly virtual events with the school. The virtual event with Martin Luther King elementary school has been postponed to March 2021.
