Raider Challenge Overview
The Army JROTC National Raider Challenge is a high intensity competition that tests JROTC Cadets’ physical fitness and teamwork. The 2024 JROTC National Raider Challenge is the 2nd annual national championship event that will be held on Fort Knox, Kentucky, from October 24th-27th. More than 300 teams from around the country will compete for the title of Raider National Champion.

Access to Fort Knox
Everyone coming to Fort Knox for National Raider Challenge will need either a valid military ID or a visitors pass. For those without valid military or dependent ID cards, Army JROTC recommends applying for a 5-Day Fast Pass. These are only available to individuals who possess a valid state driver’s license/ID. Children 17 years of age and younger are not required to possess identification, however, individuals who appear older may be asked for identification. Passes can only be requested 30 days before the visitor’s arrival date.

Medical Information
RV Parking
Free RV parking will be available for guests. If bringing an RV, it must be annotated in your registration/team roster. This free parking does not include showers, power, water, or dump sites. For RV facilities, visitors must take their vehicles to Camp Carlson.

Additional Community Activities
The Exchange and its attached food court will be open to the public during the National Raider Challenge.

The museum has the mission of training future Army Leaders. It houses the personal artifacts of the famous World War II General George S. Patton Jr and tells the story multiple leaders throughout the history of the United States Army. The museum is home to a broad collection of vehicles, uniforms, weapons, and equipment. It is free and accessible to the general public.

Houston Bowling Center offers 32 synthetic lanes, automatic scoring, Bumper Bowling, a pro shop, billiards and video games. The Strike Zone eatery, located inside Houston Bowling Center, offers a full menu.
