McCluer High School Army JROTC Cadet Receives Scholarship

McCluer High School Army JROTC Cadet Battalion Commander, Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Rhanita A. Smith from 3rd Brigade was recognized by the Ferguson-Florissant School District Board of Education as she was offered and accepted an Army ROTC National 3-year ROTC Scholarship that covers tuition & fees, $1200 a year for books and $420 monthly stipend during the Cadet’s Sophomore, Junior and Senior years in college. Cadet LTC Smith will attend Kentucky State University (KSU) in the Fall of 2024, where she will major in Psychology and actively participate in the KSU Army ROTC program. Upon graduation from KSU, Cadet Smith will be commissioned as a U.S. Army Officer at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
