On October 8, 2023, the Mighty Bulldawg Battalion from Garfield High School participated in the 5th Annual Disability Pride Parade. This event recognizes and celebrates diversity and individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Our esteemed Color Guard team was honored to present the colors during the opening ceremony and lead the parade.

The Annual Disability Pride Parade is made possible by Los Angeles County Supervisor, Hilda Solis, a former Secretary of Labor under the President Obama administration, and representatives of the First Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County. The Mighty Bulldawg will continue to maintain a fantastic working relationship with the supervisor’s office and are honored to be invited to all celebrations, from opening ceremonies, Color Guard presentations, the singing of the National Anthem, the Pledge, and the parades within Los Angeles County.
