Colonel Misty Cantwell took the time to come and speak about leadership, challenges, and what it is like to serve the nation. To a battalion of all grade levels, her informative speech introduced a career path to some and to others, it inspired a potential pursuit of such a career. Sergeant Rodriguez provided further insight on the important role of mistakes and life skills that will stay with cadets as they continue to grow. Cadets were able to ask them questions that showcased their curiosity and interest in the program they are involved in. At the end of the day, their visit reaffirmed the values of JROTC and was very appreciated.
