Denbigh High School’s Patriot Battalion JROTC cadets took time this Veterans Day to pay tribute to local heroes who have served our nation. The cadets led heartfelt ceremonies, commemorating veterans connected to Denbigh High School, Mary Immaculate Hospital, and American Legion Post 368. Through the event, they demonstrated respect and gratitude, underscoring the values of service, honor, and dedication.

During their tribute, cadets presented small tokens and cards, read aloud names of veterans, and offered a moment of silence to honor their sacrifices. The cadets’ commitment to celebrating the legacy of local veterans offered a meaningful reminder of the bonds shared between the school, hospital, and veteran community.

At American Legion Post 368, the cadets were joined by veterans and families for a special gathering. Veterans spoke about the honor of serving their country, and the JROTC cadets had the chance to personally thank them, gaining insight into the values they represent. The cadets’ efforts served as a strong symbol of community and respect, bridging generations through shared appreciation for military service.

The Veterans Day ceremony was a touching display of the Denbigh JROTC’s dedication to honoring veterans’ legacies and a reflection of the enduring values these young cadets carry forward.
