Denbigh High School JROTC cadets participated in the annual Holiday Party hosted by Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown on December 6, 2024. The event, designed to foster community spirit and provide festive activities for military personnel and their families, featured holiday-themed crafts, cookie decorating, face-painting, games, a visit from Santa Claus, and delicious food. The cadets played a vital role in ensuring the event’s success, showcasing core values of leadership, duty, and selflessness. Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Prudencio, a senior at Denbigh High School, reflected on the experience, stating that volunteering at the Holiday Party was incredibly rewarding and reminded him of the importance of giving back.
