On March 25, 2023, CO Representative, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert attended and was the guest speaker for the annual Delta High School JROTC Ball. Congresswoman Boebert spoke for approximately 10 minutes. The Congresswoman’s speech to the cadets focused on selfless service to the school, community, and nation. The Colorado representative noted the importance of the Delta High School JROTC program promoting ideas such as duty, respect and selfless service. The highlight of her speech was sharing that the cadets are not the future, rather they are the “now” and their active participation in our communities and society will be beneficial to all. Congresswoman Boebert thanked the cadets, instructors, and school administrators for allowing her to participate in key event for the JROTC program.
