On June 10, 2025, the Texas School Safety Center, which is a part of Texas State University offered a variety of Texas Commission of Law Enforcement (TCOLE) accredited Professional Development Training classes hosted at Birdville High School with over 300 attending officers through June 9th to June 14th. As a part of the opening ceremony, Birdville High School JROTC Co-Ed Color Guard Cadets, (C/CSM Asenath Downs, C/MAJ Joel Tovar, C/CPT Valerie Santiago, C/PFC Lauryn Roybiskie) posted the Colors.
The Birdville Color Guard is honored to have been given the opportunity to showcase their skills and hard work and we voice our gratitude to our Principal Mr. Drysdale for allowing us to participate in such a significant event.
