Alhambra High School JROTC in collaboration with Alhambra High School Engineering Department recently completed a soap box derby. The project and race were patterned after the Red Bull style event. Each team had to design and build their car. It had to follow a common and recognizable theme for the crew and car itself. This event was an excellent project planning, communication and leadership practical exercise, in addition to being fun. The winning team was the Jurassic Park car crewed by Cadets Karen Allen, Ramon Nunez, Roland Wylie and Servando Pinon.
