What: National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

When: December 7, 2021

Where: White Station High School JROTC Building.

Why: To remember and honor the Americans who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor.

On Tuesday, December 7th, Cadet Leadership participated in a wreath laying ceremony in remembrance of Pearl Harbor, to commemorate the bravery and courage of those who were there and died on December 7th, 1941. This is the 80th Anniversary ot the attack on Pearl Harbor.

All companies in the Spartan Battalion gathered in formation while a selected cadet officer read the Proclamation for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day signed by President Biden. Then selected cadets symbolically hung the memorial wreath and afterwards the companies had a moment of silence to honor the fallen.

After the ceremony, cadets viewed a 12 minute video highlighting what occurred on December 7th, 1941 and ended with personal reflections.
