BATON ROUGE, LA -- LTC (R) Robert Hyver, Director of Army Instruction (DAI) for East Baton Rouge School System, shares the following:
"Liberty High School JROTC was the only JROTC program that competed in the Bell Vertical Robotic Competition this weekend at University of Texas Arlington, Arlington, TX. The 2021 BELL Vertical Robotics Competition (external link) (BELL VRC) require teams to develop and implement various vertical lift prototypes to address dynamic transportation issues surrounding future emergency medical services, commuter travel, cargo movement, and more. Students design, build and test their solutions during the 2021 Earthquake Search & Rescue Challenge.
