FORT RILEY, KS -- One hundred JROTC Cadets from five high schools (Junction City, Garden City, Topeka West, Leavenworth and Booneslick Technical Education Center) attended and completed JCLC. This was an intense camp where cadets were challenged continuously and all were evaluated closely while holding leadership positions. Activities included rappelling, Land Navigation, One-Rope Bridge, Obstacle Course, Leadership Reaction Course and a squad drill evaluation. TAC NCOS came from the KSARNG, trainers and training resources were provided by the 97th MP Battalion.

This was the first time Camp Konza was conducted on Fort Riley since 2012. Covid 19 reduced participants from our normal 13 schools and 250-275 cadets.
