BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, SC -- In October 2020, COL Robinson (USA Ret) was nominated and voted on by his peers as Batesburg-Leesville High School Teacher of The Year for 2020-2021. He went on to complete in a vigorous process and won Lexington 3 School District Teacher of the Year 2020-2021. COL Robinson (USA Ret) has work in the School District for 7 years as the JROTC Senior Army Instructor. In COL Robinson words: “It is an honor to be selected by your peers and Teacher of the Year and none of this would be possible without my battle buddy 1SG Tim Covington (USA Ret)”.
Mrs. Toni Chewning, Director of Association Activities, a representative from Palmetto State Teachers Association (PSTA), Dr. Ashley Atkinson, Lexington School District 3, Superintendent, and Dr. Era Roberts, Assistant Principal of Batesburg-Leesville High School presented COL Robinson with banner of recognition.
COL Robinson (USA Ret) and other South Carolina District Teachers of the Year will be honored at a Gala on May 5, 2021 at the Convention Center in Columbia, South Carolina. During this Gala the South Carolina Teacher of the Year will be selected.
