Early County High School JROTC Cadet Riley Taylor Prepares for U.S. Army Career

BLAKELY, GA -- Cadet Riley Taylor is the son of Clay and Sam Taylor of Blakely, GA. Riley Taylor has been a JROTC Cadet at Early County High School Bobcat Battalion for all four years of high school and on August 18, 2020 he enlisted at MEPS for Active Duty to serve in the U.S. Army with an MOS of 11 x-ray (Infantry). He will enter Basic Training as a PFC (Private First Class, because of being in JROTC for three years) on June 22, 2021, and OSUT (One Station Unit Training) at Fort Benning, GA. He is a Senior and Cadet/ First sergeant in the Bobcat Battalion. While in JROTC he has participated on the Rifle Team, Raider’s Team, Color Guard, Flag Detail, Drill Team and JCLC.

The Director of the CTAE Department (Dr. Shanice Richardson) and JROTC are very proud of Cadet/ First Sergeant Riley Taylor.
