SAN ANTONIO, TX -- On Friday October 30th, 2020, the Brackenridge High School JROTC program took 25 Cadets to Alamo Stadium for our first field trip of the school year. Normally this trip would require one bus, but out of an abundance of caution, we reserved 3 busses and only placed 8 Cadets on each bus - ensuring maximum spacing between the Cadets.

The afternoon began with hot pizza and cold drinks served by our awesome JROTC Parent Support Club. The Cadets had a great time bonding, supporting the football team and developing a greater sense of camaraderie, all while practicing Safety and Social Distancing.

The Varsity Eagles ultimately soared past the Sam Houston Hurricanes, winning the game 26 to 20 in overtime. We are already looking forward to the next game on Thursday against the Burbank Bulldogs.
