SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- C/MAJ Nicholas Gaylord from San Francisco's Abraham Lincoln High School, takes a photo with SFC Donald Gay, the AI of Manteca High School. Beyond the similar last names (they are not related), both were involved with the recent Manteca High School Drill Competition, which drew teams from nine schools across four school districts. The competition marked the first time in decades where a school from San Francisco participated in a competition outside The City. Lincoln was presented the award for 1st place in the unarmed platoon category.
