MEDFORD, NJ -- The Legion of Valor is made up of veterans who have received either the Medal of Honor or their respective service’s highest award for gallantry — the Navy Cross, Army Distinguished Service Cross or Air Force Cross. This award is open to all high school JROTC and college ROTC Cadets. The criteria for this award make it exceptionally difficult to earn as only the most dedicated Cadets are chosen. Samantha was one of 72 cadets selected out of over 200,000 Cadets from around the world.
