LOS ANGELES, CA -- On November 21, 2019 Mr. Romeo B. Miguel GS Recruiting Operations Officer from the UCLA ROTC visited members of the Mighty Bulldawg Battalion and conducted a conceptualization of the Senior ROTC programs. He presented an overview, and informed the cadets that there are 1,700 college programs and universities across the country which prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S Military Services. The basic requirements were explained in detail first beginning with academics in high school and other activities, to include taking the SAT.

Overall he explained that a paid education could be obtained for the exchange of an obligation to serve in the Military Service. Mr. Miguel explained the many options available by joining ROTC and the long term effect of getting an education, and having a career as a military officer. Moreover, as a bases to pursue future endeavors in life. The cadets present were overwhelmed with the presentation along with him providing his own life long experiences, acting in the now, not waiting to the last minute , and weighing all options before graduating from high school.
