LOS ANGELES, CA --On Sunday November 10, 2019 members of the Garfield High Color Guard Team performed a memorable presentation in honor of all the veterans that have serve and sacrificed for this country through the many conflicts and campaigns. The presentation was held at Atlantic County Park only 3 blocks from the high school. The Saint Alphonsus Parish students song the National Anthem and a beautiful rendition of “America the Beautiful”
Many veterans and organizations attended to include the American Legion, Veteran of Foreign, American Legion Riders, Marine Corps League Detachment, Mexican Airborne Association, Boy Scout Troop, Young Marines, and Garfield High School Vietnam Memorial Monument Committee, and the Honorable Lucille Roybal-Allard U.S. Representative for the 40th Congressional District.
