JACKSONVILLE, FL -- On 2 November, five Cadets from Ware County High School in Waycross, GA had the distinct privilege to present the colors at the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville, FL. Cadets from the program’s color guard marched onto the field in front of nearly 85,000 fans and presented the colors, including the state flags from both Georgia and Florida. The opportunity presented itself about six months prior and just a week before the game, the call came. This was a great opportunity for the program and for the community of Waycross and Ware County. It was definitely an experience these cadets will never forget.
