HOUSTON, TX -- The Army JROTC Cadets of Clear Lake High School attended a ceremony at the NASA Johnson Space Center this month. The Color Guard was thanked for their professionalism and “truly exceptional support”. 1SG(R) Thomas Sotsuda, Army Instructor (AI), said that the Cadets thought the experience was “pretty cool to do”. Their exceptionalism has left an impression - they’ve been invited back to NASA for another color guard on October 3rd.

1SG Sotsuda shared a message of thanks that was sent to him after the ceremony:

“I personally want to thank you for your professionalism and the truly exceptional support that you and your cadets provided NASA Johnson Space Center last Friday. Your cadets left a great impression on all of the NASA Senior Leadership that were present for the event, as well as the honorees and their guests. We received many compliments for the Clear Lake High School JROTC Color Guard. – Zack Holliday”
