LOS ANGELES, CA -- On September 11, 2019 at 7:15 a.m., members of the Garfield High School Army JROTC planned and coordinated the 18th annual 9/11 observance. The event was held in East Los Angeles at Garfield High School in front of the auditorium with an enormous amount of attendees to pay tribute to all the fallen victims and in remembrance of the first responders that were part of the recovery units. The program evoked an awe-inspiring atmosphere and at times a somber mood.

The Mighty Bulldawg Battalion feel that we have a profound obligation in our lives to ensure that neither America nor the world ever forgets September 11, 2001, nor the senseless attacks of that day. That’s why the Bulldawg Battalion makes an exerted effort each year to remind everyone in the local and school community that we should never forget the events of September 11th.
