CALUMET, MI -- The Keweenaw JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) is in full swing in 3rd Brigade! JROTC Cadets traveled to Calumet, Missouri, from across the state from schools including Bemidji High School, Ironwood High School, Calumet High School, and Houghton High School. Activities at this JCLC include mountain biking, high ropes, zip lining, one-rope bridge training, and rappelling. The Cadets also challenged themselves with canoe training, military drill training, log rolling, and the climbing wall! Orienteering was part of this JCLC to teach JROTC Cadets the fundamentals of land navigation. This JCLC also gave the Cadets the opportunity to take a National Historic Park tour and participate in a Flag Day Ceremony. Finally, no JCLC is complete without marching - and lots of it!
