Waukegan JROTC Cadets Celebrate 100 Years of JROTC with 1920's Day:
In celebration of 100 years of JROTC, the cadets took a time-out from their normal Uniform Inspection day and dressed as if they were in the 1920’s. Once a month, on uniform inspection day, cadets will be wearing styles of a different decade. Each decade they will learn about the events of the corps of cadets, world events, and fashion trends.
For the month of November cadets will be wearing clothing worn in the 1930’s. Although the fashion was similar to 1920’s the cadets will learn how the Great Depression affected fashion and the economy. Come along and ride on this “fantastic voyage” with the Waukegan JROTC cadets. Stay tuned…..
