34th Annual Rakkasan Reunion Color Guard:
Saturday Sep 12, 2015, Nashville, TN 

On Saturday 12 September 2015 the Northeast High School JROTC Color Guard with CSM Derrick Maffett posted the Color at the 34th annual Rakkasan Reunion in Nashville, TN.

Cadet Sarah Brekus, Cadet CSM Pablo Martinez Rivera, Cadet CPT Anthony Warner and Cadet LTC Michael Pitts, composted the Color Guard. Colonel William E. Weber, USA-Ret is in the middle.

Colonel Weber is a distinguished veteran who served with the Rakkasan (187th Regimental Combat Team)
He was wounded in the Korean War February 1951 during the battle for Wonju while assigned as Company Commander of K Company 187th Infantry Regiment. Weber is was severely wounded and lost his right arm and right leg. He was retained on active duty, being one of the first such disabled officers on active duty since the Civil War.
