Marshall JROTC Cadets participates in the U. S. Army High School challenge:
On Oct 3, 2014, the U. S. Army High School challenge was conducted at Marshall High School Chicago Illinois. Marshall JROTC Cadets participated in various competitive team activities. The High School Challenge supports the academic curriculum and character education initiatives. It provides and engaging learning environment which inspires Cadets to recognize the leadership qualities inside themselves. In addition, it promotes physical well-being and fosters strength of purpose to students.
Marshall Cadets performed superbly! All participants received an Army Strong T-Shirt. The winning teams also received an Army back pack. Marshall Cadets participated in pull the pull up event displaying their strengths and weaknesses as others began to cheer them on. Many Cadets were enthusiastic while others cheered their teams on.
We want to thank the U.S. Army for promoting this event and encouraging all Marshall Cadets to do their very best in all achievements. This program can help your school meet the Department of Education goals promoting strong character and citizenship. This program definitely helped the Cadets to make their mark in life.
