Lanier JROTC Drill Team perform in the biggest Veteran's Day Parade on the Gulf Coast.

The biggest Veteran Day Parade on the Gulf Coast in Gulfport, MS gave Lanier JROTC Drill Team an invitation to perform in this 14th annual event.  The Lanier Drill Team consisting of 32 Cadets accepted the invitation. The Drill Team had 20 members that proudly performed to honor the past, present and future veterans in the 2014 Veteran’s Day Parade.  The remaining Cadets who marched are apart of the Lanier High School Cadet Challenge and Academic Team.  All Cadets marched with confident and displayed esprit de corps.

The Mighty Lanier Bulldog Drill Team sang cadences and marched with assertive down the main street of the Coast at an estimated parade route of 3.5 miles.

The Drill Team performed precision exhibition movements as the spectators applaud them for showcasing their talents.  All participants received a token for completion of the parade and the unit was awarded a Certificate.
