Dodge Co. JROTC Cadets build Homecoming Float:

The Dodge County High School Army JROTC program recently demonstrated their school spirit by creating a float for their Homecoming Parade in Eastman, GA. The float was designed and built by the battalion staff officers in an effort to refine their leadership and teamwork skills. In creating the theme of the float, the staff decided they wanted it to be military related and fun. After brainstorming ideas they chose to create a float based on an old popular television show, M.A.S.H.

M.A.S.H. is an acronym for Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. The series, which was produced in association with 20th Century Fox Television for CBS, follows a team of doctors and support staff stationed at the "4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in South Korea during the Korean War. The series premiered in the U.S. on September 17, 1972, and ended February 28, 1983.
