15 High School JROTC Raider Teams went Head-to-Head against each other at the Annual Raider Challenge hosted by the Harris County JROTC Battalion:


On Saturday, April 9, 2016 fifteen (15) High School JROTC Raider Teams went Head-to-Head against each other at the Annual Raider Challenge hosted by the Harris County JROTC Battalion in Hamilton Georgia.    

All of the athletes are truly professional competitors that mastered the five(5) task required to compete; Team Run, Raider Fitness, Litter Rescue, Rope Bridge, and Obstacle Course.  The Raider Challenge Competition is modeled after the U.S. Army’s Best Ranger Competition.  Schools select the fitness Cadets to create an all-male and mixed gender teams.  The event is a grueling test of will, fitness, team work, and mental/physical toughness.

The Schools that participated this year were:
Chattahoochee County High School, Columbus High School, Jorda
n High School, Spencer High School, and Northside High School.

The top three (3) teams in the all-male category were:

  • Harris County High School team #1 First Place
  • Spencer High School team #1 Second Place
  • Harris County High School team #2 Third Place.

The remainder of the standings were Columbus High School team #2 Fourth Place, Northside High School team #2 Fifth Place, Spencer High School team #2 Sixth Place, and Chattahoochee County  High School team #2 Seventh Place.The top three (3) teams in the mixed gender category were:Columbus High School team #1 First Place, Northside High School team #1 Second Place, Jordan High School team #2 Third Place.The remainder of the standings were Jordon High School team #3 Forth Place, Chattahoochee County High School team #1 Fifth Place, Harris County High School team #3 Sixth Place, Jordan High School team #1 Seventh Place, and Harris County High School team #4 Eight Place
